Class Activities

Class activities i did during my time at PPB

Typing

skill's

As every time we enter class,

we would always run a typing software called mavis beacon to practice our typing skill. We would do this for 30 min everyday, we even had a typing test to test our typing speed, and my highest typing speed was around 45 wpm.

E-Learning activity about health & safety

We had to learn the safety around the computer room & around us to avoid accidents or incidents that include injuring us or people around us, we even went to a fire marshal to learn about the basics of fire and how to use fire extinguisher, we also had to to learn how to carry objects and sit properly to not injure our self or worsen our back muscle.

Online class activity

Due to the Covid-19 quarantine, we had to do our class activities at home,we would use a video communication app called ZOOM where we would have our online class, after our online class is done we would be givin a online task that had to be done in groups, in order to do that we had to use any video call application (skype, discord, facetime, whatsapp video call etc.). After we are done, we would screenshot our video call as evidence that we did our task as a group.

Curriculum Vitae

We we're given the task to make our own CV (curriculum vitae) and send it to our teacher, However i didn't had a make a new one as i already had a existing CV, i just tweak it a bit and adding new skill's and experience i learned.

Fire Marshall

During my first 2 weeks of orientation, we first had to learn the safety of ourselves & our surrounding and how to evacuate a building incase there is a crisis or emergency, and so we all had to take a fire marshal course and even went to a fire department to learn how to use a fire extinguisher and the different types of use of it.

Activities i did during my time at PPB

Setting up an event called MMPB at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, All the students are obligated to help, decorate and setup stalls at the Stadium. We would go there at 7pm and most of the time be done at 2am. Once the event starts we give out bracelet ticket for free to count how many people has entered the event.	We had to dig make and make a 2 feet square hole to plant durian, in the picture i am breaking down the hay fertilizer.	Going to I.C.C to talk and be lecture about the M.I.B culture	All the student were obligate to take the OBBD course, we had to hike through the forest for 4 hours as a group and camp there for a day, after that we had to go through another camping but solo with no food nor help, we had to set up the camp by our self and sleep there for a day.	Our participation for H.K( Hari kebangsaan/ National Day)
For 2 week's, we practice for National Day	Learning how to march during our orientation for 2 weeks, even after our orientation was finish, we still had to learn how to march	Listening to our uztaz talk after our religious prayer	Every day during our 2 weeks orientation, we had a P.T.I (Physical Training Instructor) to train our body.	Going to I.C.C to watch people reading the Al-Quran
